Everything in the shop is polymer clay, sculpted, cured and glazed by hand. It is tougher than it looks, but it is not ceramic and it is not dishwasher safe. Four rules cover almost everything.
Keep them out of direct sun
Long hours on a hot windowsill will dull the glaze over time. Normal room light is fine.
Dry cloth only
No water, no soap, no dishwasher. Dust with a soft dry cloth. If something sticky gets on a piece, a barely damp cloth followed by a dry one is the most it should ever see.
Pick them up by the body
Hats, cups, stems and other small parts are attached firmly, but they are the weakest points. Lift the piece by its body, not its accessories.
Earrings come off before you sleep or swim
The hooks are stainless steel, but chlorine and sweat dull the glaze. Take them off before swimming, showering or sleeping, and store them dry.
If something breaks
If a piece arrives damaged, reply to your order email with a photo within seven days and I will remake it. If a piece breaks later and you cannot bear to part with it, write to me anyway and we will figure something out.
